If you don't have that right, you're not going to be able to follow through.

She has a great list that she put together. A list of attitudes and behaviors, both old and new. A lot of people, are miserable but they are comfortable.  So they don't change. They don't do anything. 

But, we daily live in worry, doubt, confusion, depression, anger, feelings of condemnation and these are our own personal attacks of our minds.  So if we flip that and say, “You know what, it's now our turn to gain control over our mind,” and find freedom and peace through working out and eating healthy, recognizing those damaging self-sabotaging thoughts and stoping them from influencing our lives.

Stop the negative self-talk because it doesn't help.  And just be patient with yourself even when you make mistakes.  We're all going to fall off our food plan.  We're all maybe going to miss the workout but that doesn't give you the license or the approval to get on your downward spiral and throw in the whole towel.  You might not see results as fast as you want them.  It took me almost three months after the birth of my second son to get real with myself and after I started - three months after that - I still didn't see results. I almost threw in the towel... but I didn't because I said to myself:  “You know what, it's not about being perfect, it's about being persistent.” 

I want people to follow the light out of their own mental wilderness and get out of those bad attitudes and excuses we use to keep us from our own personal weight loss goals.  So stop all of that raging war in your mind.  Your mind can be either your best friend or your worst enemy.
